Participants will gain understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/trainer in relation to legislation, equality, inclusivity and meeting learner needs. They will be able to plan and deliver sessions using appropriate resources and teaching methods, and identify the characteristics of effective assessment and feedback.

External accreditation means you get the best of both worlds: A bespoke teaching qualification tailored to the particular nuances of the veterinary world, and a globally-recognised qualification that you can take anywhere.  You are also able to build a qualification that suits you with a choice of modules, depending on your particular role and teaching interests.

Modules:

  • 301 Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
  • 303 Facilitating learning and development for individuals; OR 304 Facilitating learning and development in groups
  • 306 Understanding the principles and practice of assessment
