CPD: How to create and implement a suicide prevention plan in your veterinary practice. Online, 28th May/8th June.
Suicide and mental health crisis are not abstract risks in veterinary practice. The RCVS have recognised this by requiring every practice to have a formal Suicide Prevention Plan in place from April 2026. This two-part online workshop will give you the practical framework to write one, implement it, and make sure you and your team know how to use it. Kev Brown from the National Suicide Prevention Alliance, and Sherry Adams, Psychotherapist and Samaritans Listener, will lead us through creating and implementing a suicide prevention plan for our practices. We’ll finish with our plans written, and an action plan for implementation, ongoing upkeen and review.

Cost: We are operating an honesty scheme for this workshop – the fee is whatever your practice charges for a standard first consultation. If this doesn’t apply to you, we’re happy for you to pay the equivalent of an initial consult fee, or whatever you think is fair.
